Upper extreme Lower extreme Median Inner quartile range First quartile Third quartile The range of the second quartile and the third quartile The highest number of the set of data Outlier The second half of the inner quartile range The lowest number of the set of data The first quarter of the data The middle number of the set of data One piece of data that is seperated from the group of data 1) Arrange the weather data in order from least to greatest 2) Find the median, lower extreme, upper extreme, lower quartile, and upper quartile 3) Then you plot all the data on the number line having even intervals 4) You make a box from lines coming from the lower quartile to the upper quartile
5) At the median, you draw a line that is vertical and inside the box to indicate that that is the median
6) At the lower extreme, you draw a line from that dot connected to the lower quartile or the beginning of the box 8) Connect the upper dot to the upper quartile end of the box. 7) You connect the lines to show the interquartile range, which is the range of the numbers inside the box
9) Lastly, you need to make sure everything is lined up with the number line.
