Leonardo Da Vinci All About 1)Leonardo was born April 15, 1452 in Vinci, Italy.
2)He was the love child of his un-married parents, Ser Piero and Caterina.
HIs LIFE His Childhood HIs LIFE His Teens 3)At age 14, he began his apprenticeship in arts with Verrocchio.
4)In 6 years he learned a variety of technical skills including: metal working, carpentry, sculpting, leather working and drawing. Bibliography - www.biography.com

1) He did very different things than everyone else, he thought differently and acted differently.
2) The Mona Lisa was stolen from the Louvre, in 1911, and it took over 2 years for it to be found. Leonardo's work then rose to fame. The Mona Lisa.. Dare to be Different continued. is now behind bulletproof glass.
3) Here is the last theory: He got lucky because someone put his painting in a famous gallery.
