1888- Businessman Asa Candler purchased Coca-Cola™ formulation for $2,300

1894- An idea was proposed to Candler to bottle the soft drink so consumers could have the drink at their home.

1916 - Coca-Cola’s™ contoured bottle was trademarked, setting Coca-Cola™ apart from the competition.
