Aaron is awesome!
Cell Organelles
Mitochondria
Lysosomes
Mitochondria are know as the powerhouses of the cell. They are organelles that take in nutrients and and create energy for the cell. Cells can have several thousand mitochondria.
Ribosomes (smallest circles in the cell)
Nucleus
1. It is the control
center of the cell
2.It is the biggest thing
in the cell.
3.It controls cell functions
4. It also contains DNA.
5. It was the first organelle
to be discovered.
Nucleolus
Golgi Bodies(or the stack of pancakes)

1.Packages things in the cell
2.It modifies new protein
3.It sorts proteins to transport them
4.It is named after Camillo Golgi
Nucleolus by Aaron C.
hi
The nucleolus is located inside the nucleus. The nucleolus is a prominent sub-nuclear structure that is not bound by a membrane and resides within the nuclear matrix. It is now been determined that nucleoli manufacture the subunits that combine to form ribosomes, the cell's protein-producing factories. Accordingly, the size of nucleoli depends upon the ribosomal requirements of the type of cell in which they are found. In cells that produce large amounts of protein, and thus call for significant numbers of ribosomes, the size of the nucleolus is considerable, sometimes occupying as much as 25 percent of the total volume of the nucleus.

This is a RIBOSOMES
The lysosomes are the cell recycling center.
The cell membrane
Ribosomes are found in many places around the cell. You might find them floating in the cytoplasm cytosol. Those floating ribosomes make proteins that will be used inside of the cell. Other ribosomes are found on the endoplasmic reticulum. Endoplasmic reticulum with attached ribosomes is called rough. It looks bumpy under a microscope. Those attached ribosomes make proteins that will be used inside the cell and proteins made for export out of the cell.
Smooth E.R.
The Smooth E.R. acts as a storage space in an organelle it stores steroids and ions. It holds them for when the cell will need them in a later time, like a storage space that your family might have. Having these ions and steroids stored in your smooth E.R. is good because your body might need them fast and it would take too long to search for them in the cell.

Cell Membrane
The Cell membrane holds all of the cell pieces and fluids inside the cell and keeps any nasty things outside the cell. The cell membrane has some king of cell skin selectivity and lets things in or out.The cell membrane is to protect the cell from its surroundings. The cell membrane is a thin semi-permeable membrane that surrounds the cell's cytoplasm, enclosing its contents.
Cytosol
Cytosol is the is the liquid found inside cells. In the eukaryotic cell, the cytosol is within the cell membrane and is part of the cytoplasm. everything lies within the cytosol.
