"THOSE COMPANIES THAT MASTER THE DELICATE BALANCE BETWEEN CUTTING COSTS TO SURVIVE TODAY AND INVESTING TO GROW TOMORROW, DO WELL AFTER A RECESSION."
PROPOSED

• 500W downlights changed to higher lumen package 75W LED
• 40W cove lighting changed to dimmable linear fluorescent 3000K
(300 watt savings per linear foot)
• 40W candelabra lights changed to LED tape.
• 150 W par 30 down lights changed to 10w LED

OUTCOME

Did not do a formal payback analysis
New dimming system was reduced by almost 1/2 due to reduced wattages
• LED and fluorescent sources were NOT retrofit lamps as initially proposed. The quality, efficiency and output of new lighting systems was not possible with retrofit lamps in the high ceiling applications in the ballrooms due to cost, time and access.

L-Prize bulb, 9.7 watts ,brighter at 940 lumens, has better light quality rating, and lasts 30,000 instead of 25,000.
