Like pigs, it can be domesticated, but if any domesticated exotic animal sees or tastes blood or flesh, it will go on a rampage attacking anybody in sight. People probably cannot let go of their animal because of love and affection, but you still need to be very gentle, or the unexpected shall happen. Some people think the animals posses no threat. Some people are attracted to baby wild cats just because they are cute. The animals will grow up to be fierce hunters and no longer cute. Their natural instincts could take over and the animal would decide to turn on you. The sense of being out of their natural habitat will make them more prone to disease. Some owners would think it is just a cold, but really it is a terrible disease. You should not keep these poor animals as pets.Keeping them as pets in the animal's eyes,is that you kidnapped them and they are being held hostage. In America, we carry diseases that we and our normal domesticated dogs or cats are immune to. (Also, the exotic animal could carry diseases on it's own) People should not keep exotic animals as pets. Keeping the animals in captivity is like keeping a dog in a small confined space; and never letting it out. It is not their way of life! Poor animals are attacking not because they are vicious, but just because it is their instinct! They are constantly alert for any threat of any kind. That means, one wrong step or action, will set them for an attack. No! It is very dangerous to keep animals like these at home! It is very dangerous for the human and the animal if the animal is held in captivity. The animal could turn on you at any moment. Like in an article I read, someone had a pet chimpanzee and she brought it over to her friend's house. At a random time, the chimp felt threatened, and it literally tore off her face. Luckily, she survived. My point is, it is very dangerous for humans and the animals combined. Yes, We should Keep Exotic Animals as pets. Yes! You should keep exotic animals as pets. They are beautiful animals and with proper care, they will offer protection and entertainment. Intro You should NOT keep exotic animals in captivity. It is bad for the animal. It is terrible for the animal's immune system by changing it's natural way of life, by putting it in captivity. If the animal becomes sick because of this, it is usually hard and expensive to find a cure because it is a rare disease that our normal domesticated animals are used to, because they are immune to it. People treat these animals terribly, and many humans think nothing of it. Should People Keep Exotic Animals as Pets? By:Morgan Spanopoulos Some Stats of Wild Animal Attacks and Kills EdJournal. If someone keeps a pet tiger, they feel all high and mighty to the people with the common domesticate animal. It is terrible because they may torture the animal just to make it do what the owner wants it to. The poor animals probably will become sick because of regular dog or cat food, the special food tailored to the animal, (if they can find it) will be very expensive and in small portions. Would you attack someone treating you like a slave from another continent? People do not realize that animals are very unstable. Even the slightest hunger, and you go to feed the animal, it could try to bite the food out of your hand, and possibly eat your hand. People realize the animal is sick, but they just think it is just a small cold. It is really because since they were moved out of their natural habitat, they are more inclined to become sick without the things they depend on most in the wild. Let us see the animal's perspective. If you were moved out of your natural habitat you called home to live with a complete stranger, you would eventually become more and more agitated, become completely hostile, and you would eventually trust your instincts and attack.
