Reflection Questions
1. Why do you spin counterclockwise rather than clockwise? Mostly everything in our solar system all rotate clockwise.
2. Describe exactly when a lunar and solar eclipse would occur within your model? A lunar eclipse occurs when the earth passes between the moon and sun and a solar eclipse happens when the moon passes through the earth and sun.
3. How would you describe the waxing versus the waning portion of the moon's journey? waxing = full moon, waning= new moon.
4. How could you change your model to indicate a moon that is apogee or perigee? The moon would appear larger in apogee and smaller in perigee.
