Daniel McAuliffe, seventh grade student and winner of both the Agora middle school spelling bee and the Agora school-wide spelling bee, advanced to the K12 Regional Spelling Bee, which was held on April 8. Joining him was sixth grade student Anna Smith, who was the Agora bee runner-up. These Agora students competed against ten students from K12 schools across the region and were very impressive spellers. Although neither advanced to the next round of competition, they did a wonderful job representing our school. Congratulations Danny and Anna! In this issue:

May 14, 2013
Please plan to join us for the seventh annual Cyber Charter School Day on the Hill and rally in Harrisburg on May 14, 2013! The purpose of this day is to celebrate our Public Charter Schools. You can show your support, talk to your legislators and protect educational choice for Pennsylvania families and children. We must be well represented and make this a positive day by thanking our legislators for their support of public charter and cyber charter schools.
Even if you can't attend Day on the Hill, write or call your local representative to tell them how important cyber education is to you and your family. Who is my Legislator? http://www.legis.state.pa.us/index.cfm
