History
Kansas is a U.S. state named after the Indian Kansa. Located on the eastern edge of the Great Plains, the U.S. state of Kansas was the home of nomadic Native American tribes who hunted the vast herds of bison.
Major Cities
The Major Cities of Kansas are, Wichita, Overland Park, Kansas City, Olathe, Topeka, Lawrence, and Shawnee those are some not all of the Cities of Kansas.
Location and Geography
Kansas is bordered by Nebraska on the north, Missouri on the east, Oklahoma on the south, and Colorado on the west. The location of Kansas is 38.5 degrees N and 98 degrees W.

The Agricultural Products
The Agricultural Products are: wheat, livestock, corn, soybeans, sorghun grain, and hay. Those are the Agricultural Products of Kansas.
Natural Resources
Some of the Natural Resources of Kansas are: Petroleum, Helium, Natural Gas, Gypsum, Salt, Sand, and gravel. Those are the Natural Resources of Kansas.
Climate
Kansas's climate is very changeable the average mean temperature is 55 degrees F, the record high is 121 degrees F recorded in Alton, Kansas on July 24, 1936.
Manufacturing Products
Some popular manufacturing products are: Cessna air crafts, boeing air crafts, including the fuselage of the 737 portions of the 787.
The water in Kansas is, Kansas River, Republican River, Arkansas River, Smoky Hill River, Turtle Creek Lake, Missouri River, Waconda Lake, and Verdigris River. Those are some of the water ways.
Places of Interest
Some places of interest are: Kansas Speedway, Sedgwick County Zoo, Schlitterbahn Kansas City exploration place, and Kansas Cosmosphere and space center.
Population
Right now the total population of Kansas is 2,871,238 people.

The important people of Kansas are Milton S. Eisenhower, he was a university president and Wendell Johnson, author of the Monster Study those are a couple important people from Kansas.
