Planning for the Future

Wanting to gain the skills and knowledge
to positively contribute to Human Rights in Canada and Internationally,
I pursued a University Degree in Ottawa
Public Awareness and
Direct Action started at Home
I moved from Nova Scotia to Ottawa to Study Public Affairs and Policy Management Specializing in Human Rights
I completed an International Exchange to Rotterdam, The Netherlands to study International Human Rights Law
My Global Perspective
developed into a Passion for Human Rights and Social Justice Locally and Internationally
ADVOCACY
RESEARCH
ACTION
TEAMWORK
ENTHUSIASM
These experiences have taught me...
Pursue a law degree in International Human Rights, for the practical tools to hold governments accountable, protect human rights advocates and to bring perpetrators to justice
Advocate for and work in solidarity with Indigenous and Women's Rights Groups, in Canada and Internationally
Committed to making positive contributions to human rights through developing effective policy changes or creative direct action
