How do they run on water?
Basilisks are most famous for running on water. How do they do it though? Basilisks are so fast and so light that they can run on water. They run by creating air bubbles on the bottom of their feet and the bubbles help them stay afloat. They weigh 7 oz, and are 2.5 feet long. They can run at about 7 miles per hour. Also, they can run for about 65 feet before sinking

Basilisk Lizards are abundant in Central America where the climate is tropical and warm most of the year. Specifically, they live in places around Guatemala and are easily found "walking on water".
