In the Appalachian Plateau there are outdoor activities such as:
visiting Cloudland Canyon
taking a hike through the woods
Coal mining is a big economic activity in this region. Sitton Gulch Creek runs through Cloudland Canyon. The Blackbarred crayfish is threatened here. The Large-flowered Skullcap is threatened in Georgia and in the US. This region is small, hilly, with hot summers and cold winters.
