CHRISTMAS
We know that Christmas is about family and food but we also get present. We have the custom of giving and receiving presents at Christmas, is to remind us of the presents given to Jesus by the Wise Men: Frankincense, Gold and Myrrh. Frankincense was a perfume used in Jewish worship and, as a gift, it showed that people would worship Jesus.
This is all 1 reason for what Christmas is about family not presents or Turkey. For many families, Christmas is seen as the one time of year when everybody, from your granny to your great uncle Jim, comes together to eat, drink and be merry.
The British Isles have variable weather that changes from day to day between different regions and within different regions. Consequently it is very difficult to predict or forecast the weather.

Britain has four distinct seasons of fairly equal length - spring, summer, autumn and winter. In winter it is colder and wetter and the days are shorter than in summer.
