Transcript of The Importance Of Family

The Importance of Family - ‘My Sister’s Keeper: I chose this movie because, the main character in this story was a girl who had cancer, and her name was Kate. She was the toughest person I have ever met in my life, her family would always keep her company and would always tell her to think positive, until the day came when the doctor said that she needs an organ in order to recover. So her parents decided to have another baby, and that when he/she will get older, they would donate the organ that the doctor needed to save Kate’s life. So when the baby got older, (her name was Anna) she bonded so well with her sister, that Kate said no I don’t want you to lose your life to save mine… In this case Anna was willing to sacrifice her life for her sister but Kate would not let it happen. That’s how important family was to Kate. This movie was released in 2009 Western Culture This Movie was released in 2010 Western Culture I chose this movie because, Ronnie used to hate her dad (her parents are divorced), and in fact it was the summer holiday that she had to spend with her dad. As the holiday passed, Ronnie and her dad’s relationship got better and better and finally, they actually got along. So now she has another member of the family back. But one day her dad got cancer and couldn’t look after her anymore so now she was taking care of him. Ronnie looked after him through this painful and tough situation. So in this case the importance of family was very important to Ronnie. This movie is exactly about the universal theme- ‘The Importance of Family. Central Idea:
Regardless of times there are certain themes that will always be found in literature because they have a lasting significance for humanity. The Last Song My Sister's Keeper Movies! Books! Totally Uncool Western Culture Sadako and 1000 Paper Cranes Poems! The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck Japanese Culture Republished in 2004 Sometimes our hearts get tangled
And our souls a little off-kilter
Friends and family can set us right
And help guide us back to the light. - Sera Christann Published First of December 2001 I chose this book because, even though the girl in the story doesnt have a mum, she has something else... Dad's Girlfriend! The girl thinks that her dad's girlfriend is so uncool! In this story at first she is very embarrased about her 'stepmom' to be. But as she gets to know her, she realises that she doesnt need to be embarrased or ashamed, she needs to thank her treating her like a daughter. So for all the characters in the story having a family is very important. Author's intention:
I think the author's intention was show us that, you shouldn't
be embarrased about your family. You should be thankful that
they are here for you and that you have them near you when
something goes wrong or even if you you just want to go crazy
and have fun! I chose this book because, was very sick and weak and needed her family to get through her pain. Her family also helps her to forget about it and have fun but in this case what helped her was the 1000 paper cranes that she started making (and didn't finish) and of course... her family. Author's intention:
I think the author's intention was
to show you that no mater what happens family is always here for you and can help you forget about a painful or tough situiation. I chose this song because it sings about family, how much fun family has together and how much family loves each other!! We are Family! We are Family I chose this quote because it shows
how much a family loves each other and how
much a family means to a person. I chose this poem because
it means that family is always here for you. I chose this song because Justin is
singing about how much family is important to him. This song is also about Justin's personal life that he wants to have a normal family, as his parents are divorced. Songs! Families The Last Song Trailer Down to Earth By Justin Bieber What Family Means to Me-
Family to me means, a group of people that are related to you
and love you, those people care about you and treat you well and with respect. Those are people that you can count on have fun with and go crazy. I LOVE my family! (and i'm sure all of you do too!) Thank you for watching my Inquiry,
