Transcript of Car Emissions

Did you know?
That's enough gas to fill up 34.5 bathtubs.
Did you know?
What kind of air do you think they will breathe?
Did you know?
One bus can mean 40 less cars going through your neighborhood.
Did you know?
Did you know?
This means more ultraviolet radiation reaching Earth's surface...
Ozone Layer Shrinking (1990- 2005)
Each minute there are 150 children born.
Each year 4.5 million people die from air pollution.
An average person uses 2759.57 liters of gas per year.
The consequences?
Ultraviolet rays from the sun also reduce crop yields...
Did you know?
The main gases in air pollution are, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, ozone, and carbon monoxide...
In some cities more people die from air pollution than car crashes.
Did you know?
Bees use their sense of smell to
locate flowers...
This means less profit.
Did you know?
Happiness may be partly contingent on air quality.
What would happen if we reduced the amount of harmful gases burning in our planet?
Better air quality, no more acid rain and smog.
We can also help reduce emissions by driving a
hybrid

or an

electrical

car.

So if it's possible to make our environment better why not do something to reduce these harmful
emissions
?

We need to take any possible actions to preserve our planet for the generations to come...

Did you know?
Diminish the productivity of oceans...
And contribute to the decline of amphibious population.
They are almost doubling every 2 years.
When car exhaust interferes however, their smell receptors stop working...
And because there are more cars on the road each year, we get less honey.
The exhaust fumes
from transportation are
poisonous and damage
the ozone layer.

Don't use pesticides.
Many pesticides end up in waterways killing many animals. They also pollute the air.
Don't leave your car running.
(idling)
In places with heavy
traffic, use a bike.
And also for the people who live on this planet today.

Tip #1
Tip #2
Use a fan instead of air conditioning.
Air conditioners emit greenhouse gases which are harmful.
Tip #5
Tip #4
Recycle
paper, plastic, glass bottles, cardboard, and aluminum cans.
Tip #3
