General verbs
Goal 1: Meeting the needs of different learners
Goal 2: Facilitating higher levels of learning
Goal 3: Increasing computer literacy skills
Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences will be used as a guide in meeting the needs of different learners while using ICTs.

The following intelligences are supported in the example course:
Linguistic intelligence
Logical intelligence
Bodily intelligence
Spatial intelligence
Interpersonal intelligence
Bloom’s Digital Taxonomy is used to
determine how ICTs can be used to facilitate higher levels of learning
These are the learning actions that are conducted by students in this course:
Creating - publishing, blogging,
Evaluating - commenting, reviewing, collaborating, reflecting, validating
Analyzing - linking, mind-mapping
Applying - uploading, sharing, editing
Understanding - commenting
Remembering - searching, highlighting, retrieving
A constructivist learning approach will be used to
enhance computer literacy skills. Students will use
information and communication tools (ITCs) in context of following course procedures.
The ICTs that will be used are:
Schoology.com
Google Docs
Prezi.com
Gaining experience with these ICTs is the primary learning objective
Goal 3: Enhance computer literacy skills

Example Course & Learning Modules
The following resources were used in this course
Effective strategies for integrating ICTs will be demonstrated
in an example, 8th grade, computer technology course
Findings from related studies guided the design of the routine procedures in this course

This chart presents how goals are met using researched methods within routine procedures.
Procedure
Students submit a link of their Prezi Portfolio onto Schoology.com
ICTs Used
Intelligence(s) Met
Learning Actions
Students retrieve notes written on a Google Doc located on Schoology.com
Students make a copy of the notes into their Google Drive
The instructor and students answer the questions on the notes together as a class
The instructor uses Apple Remote Desktop to demonstrate concepts from the notes
The instructor demonstrates the practice task
The instructor assigns a practice task to students
Students post their practice files and evaluate each other
The instructor reviews the practice to the class
The instructor gives an overview and assigns a project
Students complete the project and then complete a write-up of procedures for the project using Google Docs
Students submit their project and write-up into Schoology.com
Students take an online assessment
Students add their write-up and project onto their Prezi Portfolio in the form of steps
