W.E.B was invited to Ghana to direct a government production, Encyclopedia Africana.

He died on August 27, 1963 in Ghana, Africa while working on the Encyclopedia Africana.

Civil Rights
He was the founder of the National Association of the Advancement of Colored People. NAACP is the oldest and largest civil rights organization, who still fights for social justice.
He was the first African American to earn a Ph.D from Harvard University.

He has written 19 books, 4 magazines, and produced scores for articles and speeches.

In 1905 WEB formed the Niagara Movement.
