Galaxy: An enourmous collection of stars, gas, and dust held together by gravity. Spiral Galaxy: Has a bulge at the center and arms. Barred Spiral: Spiral galaxies with a bar running across. Elliptical: Have a smooth and ball shaped appearence and contain many old stars. Irregular: These are neither elliptical or spiral;
they do not have a definate shape. The Sun Core: Where the sun's energy is produced. Radiative Zone: Energy moves by radiation through here. Convecrion Zone: Currents of hot gas carry energy outward.
