History
In the 15th century to the 18th century Irish prisoners were sold as slaves. For a long time the Irish were described as savages to the British.
In 1654 the British parliament gave Oliver Cromwell the authority to banish Irish undesirables. He placed them on a ship going to the Caribbean where they would be sold.
