Government Funding Towards Energy Conservation: Senior Graduation Project By Jordan Toney
Transcript of Government Funding Towards Energy Conservation: Senior Graduation Project By Jordan Toney
world would be like, if we no longer
had a steady supply of fossil fuels,
and energy resources to depend on?
Studies show that in the next ten, twenty, or
thirty years, this may be what our world must
I chose the need for government
funding for energy conservation, as the
topic for my senior graduation project.
I chose this due to the fact that our
world's "energy crisis" was a hot topic at the
time, and due to my interest in energy
conservation. During the course of my research, I learned
that there are many safe alternatives to
producing energy, as well as safe alternative
These include: Hydroelectric, Solar, Wind, and
Each of these alternatives produce small (if any)
amounts of pollution. For my project, I chose Mrs. Tina Mallen
as my mentor.
Although she didn't have much experience with
the topic of my project, she was very helpful to me
during the creation of my graduation project. She
helped me to gather extra reading material regarding
energy conservation, and she also helped in the
planning stages of my project.
For my product, I chose to present four energy
conservation demonstrations/seminars at different
locations. These locations were: KMHS, L&L Auto
Parts, First National Bank Of Shelby, And Citizens
South Bank (CPI Meeting) of Gastionia.
