Adjectives: Words descibing a noun. football stadium (place) (person) a book (thing) The tall man Adverb: A word that modifies a part of language other than a noun. running falling Pronoun: A word that takes the place of a noun. "quickly" Conjunctions: The combining of two words. "slowly" The tiny puppy Prepositons: Words used before a noun or a pronoun.
