A GAMES CONSOLE IS AN INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM THAT PRODUCES A VIDEO DISPLAY SYSTEM WHICH CAN BE DISPLAYED ON ANOTHER DEVICE. DEPENDING ON THE GAME, MOST VIDEO GAMES CAN BE PLAYED BY ALL AGES. THERE ARE MANY TYPES OF PHONES IN THE WORLD BUT THE
MOST FREQUENTLY USED (EVEN WHEN AT HOME) IS THE
MOBILE PHONE (OR MOBILE). THE FIRST TELEPHONE WAS
INVENTED BY ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL ON MARCH 10TH 1876. IN 1973, DR. MARTIN COOPER INVENTED THE FIRST MOBILE PHONE. BUT IN THOSE DAYS MOBILE PHONES WERE BIG, BULGY,
UNCOMFORTABLE IN THE EAR, EXPENSIVE, AND VERY SENSITIVE. LUCKILY, THE MOBILE PHONE HAS EVOLVED SINCE THEN.
JOHN LOGIE BAIRD WAS THE INVENTOR OF THE WORLD'S FIRST WORKING TELEVISION SYSTEM AND THE WORLD'S FIRST FULLY ELECTRONIC COLOUR TELEVISION BROADCAST. THOUGH IT WAS SMALL, AND NOT EVERYONE HAD IT IN COLOUR, PEOPLE WERE EXCITED ABOUT THEIR NEW TELEVISIONS. TODAY, TELEVISION HAS EVOLVED, EXP. REMOTES, FLAT-SCREENS, HIGH-DEFINITION, VCRS & BUILT-IN VCRS, PORTABLE & NON-PORTABLE DVD PLAYERS, ANALOG TV, FREEVIEW, VIRGIN, SKY, AND SKY+.
IN 1877, THE OLDEST MUSIC PLAYER, THE PHONOGRAPH (OR GRAMOPHONE), WAS INVENTED BY THOMAS EDISON, AND LATER RECREATED INTO A RECORD PLAYER, IN THE LATE 1880S. TODAY WE HAVE PORTABLE MUSIC PLAYERS, CALLED CD PLAYERS, THAT PLAY A MORE COMPUTERISED VERSION OF A RECORD, CALLED A COMPACT DISC (CD). WE ALSO HAVE MUSIC PLAYERS THAT ARE IN MOBILE PHONES, ONES THAT DOWNLOAD MUSIC OFF COMPUTERS AND LAPTOPS, AND SOME THAT YOU CAN WATCH FILMS AND MUSIC VIDEOS ON.
A COMPUTER IS A MACHINE THAT MANIPULATES DATA ACCORDING TO A SET OF INSTRUCTIONS. ALTHOUGH SOME EXAMPLES OF COMPUTERS HAVE EXISTED THROUGH A PERIOD OF HUMAN HISTORY, THE FIRST ELECTRONIC COMPUTERS WERE CREATED BETWEEN 1940-1945. ITS FIRST INVENTOR WAS ALAN TURING. THE FIRST LAPTOP COMPUTER WAS CREATED BY ADAM OSBORNE IN 1981 AND WAS CALLED "OSBORNE 1". IT ALSO COST $1795 AND £800.
