Procedures
Test groups 13-19, 20-35, 36-49, 50+
Determine amount of sleep gotten and age of each person
3 computer generated test
Yard stick test
each person took each test twice
Literature review information
Most people do not get the amount of sleep they need because they do not know how important sleep is.
Heath, performance, safety, and reaction time are all affected by lack of sleep.
Brain can not function correctly with lack of sleep but try to make up for it by improving the short term memory.

Hypothesis
Conclusion
Boys have faster reaction time
Eight or more hours of sleep had a faster reaction time in all age groups except 13-19
fastest was the 50+
slowest 36-49
Males are faster than females
8+ hours sleep will be faster than 7 or less
Age group 20-35 will have the fastest reaction time
Factors that Effect Reaction Time
Reaction time and reflexes are often confused
sleep deprivation , age ,and alcohol are somethings that effect reaction time
Reaction time can be as poor as someone who is drunk when the don't get enough sleep
