Very advanced techology will be used
This will include two Rovers that are like robotic cars that will help prepare the settlement before the astronauts arrive and a Mars Suit that will allow the astronauts to survive.

What will the journey be like?
The journey to Mars will take between 7 and 8 months.
The astronauts will spend those 7 months in a very small space.
They will eat canned and frozen foods.
They won't even be able to shower, using wet wipes instead.
3 hours of exercise a day will be essential to keep muscle mass
What will it be like to live on Mars?
Each astronaut will have their own living unit with a bedroom, living area, work area and a space where they can grow plants.
When they leave the living space, they will have to wear a Mars Suit, but inside they can wear normal clothes as air will be pumped in!
The astronauts will do lots of research and send reports back to us here on Earth.
