Transcript of Ancient Civilizations of Meso-America

All three groups sculpted some artwork.
They also all make masks.
One difference is that only the Maya and Olmec made jade the Aztecs didn't.

They all traded produce.
Also, all groups had markets.
The Olmec trade ideas but the other two groups don't .
The Aztec,Olmec,and Maya all used numbers. They also all had calenders.
One difference is that the Aztecs didn't learn about the stars but the Olmec and Maya did.

The Maya,Olmec,and Aztec were all great farmers.
They also all grew corn.
One difference is that only the Maya and Aztecs grew corn, beans, and squash the Olmec didn't.

All of the groups had calendars.
Another similarity is that they all used glyphs(picture and symbol writing).
One difference is that only the Maya and Olmec learned about the stars and moon the Aztec didn't.

All groups had a type of religion.
All groups also all believed in god.
Only the Maya and the Aztecs had temples the Olmec didn't.

One similarity for the Aztec, Olmec, and Maya is that they all settled in Mexico. They also all have cities,towns,and villages. One difference is that only the Maya hunt.
