-Samsung was founded march 1st 1938

-Samsung is a billion dollar company owned by a young Korean man named Lee Byung-chul

- the Problem?

- Here's why it happened?
-Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was caused by faulty batteries.

-Samsung take out full-page ad to apologize to galaxy note 7
users for quality issues.

-Samsung deployed a new testing lab to prevent the issue from happening
again.

-Samsung should have tested their product several times before releasing
it to the public

Released: August 19, 2016
Recalled: Septemper 15, 2016

Prior to it's release Samsung Galaxy Note 7s started to catch fire due to manufacturing errors in two different batteries. Now banned and on recall.
-Samsung rapidly took action for the Galaxy Note7 and temporarily halted production

-Of 3million sold, 96% of Note7s were returned.

-The company investigated with 700 researchers testing over 200,000 devices and more than 30,000 batteries.

- Even though, their actions were timely the public was in fear.
- The press conference was held
on January 22nd 2017

- Samsung informed at the time
that both batteries were defective

- Samsung SDI and Amperex
(Hong Kong base) were the two
companies responsible

Samsung's Reaction
The design of the new implemented process for
all of the out coming Note cellphones.
