GOALS MUST BE ANCHORED
Corner flags must be at least 5ft high
Field must be SAFE for play
THE FIELD
U8 - size 3
U10/12 - size 4
U14 - size 5
SOCCER 101
THE PLAYERS
Shirt
Shorts
Shin guards
Socks
(cover shinguards)
Shoes
(can wear tennis shoes or metal cleats but must be safe)
Number of Players
U8 - 4 v 4 (min 3 to start)
U10 - 7 v 7 (min 5 to start)
U12 - 9 v 9 (min 7 to start)
U14 - 11 v 11 (min 7 to start)
Substitutions at any stoppage
U8 - 8' quarters
U10 - 25' halves
U12 - 30' halves
U14 - 35' halves
5' halftime for all levels
Corner Kick
Both feet must be touching or behind line

Winner chooses which
goal to attack
loser kicks off

Awarded to opposing team when ball goes over side line (touchline)
