Metaphors and Similes
What I love about Autumn
I love when niece dresses up like a scary lion.
Metaphor
Jovie is the adoring king of the jungle.
Simile
Her costume is soft like smooth rose petals
I love going to the park in the fall!
Metaphore
The leaves are little river boats sailing through the water
Simile
The rocks are like hallways in a school guiding the students where to go
I love when the leaves fall
Similie
The leaves lay a top of the grass like little red Easter eggs
Metaphor
The spots on the Leaves are their freckles brought out by the sun
I love that mums bloom in the fall
Metaphor
The clouds of fluffy purple hang above the green grass
Simile
Mums are puffy like hundreds of little French fry men
