Reproduction
Letting go
Stage Two
Stage 3
Stage 4
Are dolphins territorial or not? Dolphins, being extremely social animals, are almost never territorial. However, there is one report of a dolphin off the shore of Italy, who was repeatedly aggressive in response to interaction with humans and other dolphins. Has that answered our question. Call out
yes/no
We all know its hard to let go of someone special in our family and it would be hard for a 3-6year old dolphin to do that. So as i just said, Dolphin babies leave home at about 3-6years old, which would be hard when you have to learn how to cath prey etc. Well let me tell you this, half a dolphins brains is still on while there sleeping. So it might be easy for a baby dolphin to remember how to catch prey etc.
As I said before that a male dolphin sexual maturity is at about 10-15years of age. A female dolphin will reach sexual maturity at about 5-13years of age. Like some other creatures, the male dolphin isn't brighter than the female. The female chooses who ever she wants but the male can still inpress her. Do dolphins mate for life? Well a matter of fact they don't mate for life.

Gestation
Stage One
Starting all over again
Stage 5
How long is the gestation period for a dolphin? Between 11 and 17 Months
The gestation period of the smaller dolphins is 11 or 12 months, the orca (the largest dophin) has a gestation period of around 17 months. Dolphins are pregnant for 11 months or so.
The time required for males and females to reach sexual maturity differs by gender and by geographic location. Male dolphins reach sexual maturity at anywhere from 10-15 years of age, with females reaching sexual maturity at 5-13 years. But, obtaining sexual maturity is more a function of size, not age. Females reach sexual maturity when they are about 85-95% of their adult body length. Female dolphins are believed to spontaneously ovulate, not having a set ovulation cycle.Typically, they will ovulate anywhere from one to six times per year. Ovulation often is stimulated by the presence of a male dolphin or may occur in a mother following the loss of her calf.Dolphins are not monogamous. They will have several breeding partners in a given reproductive season. Other than humans and chimpanzees, dolphins are the only other animal that engages in sexual activity for reasons other than reproduction and not timed specifically with female estrus.
So after reproduction it pretty much starts all over again.
The baby Dolphin is know becoming an full maturity animal
and then they mate and it will start all over again.
