You have been brought together to provide expertise on a spate of murders that have occurred in the city of PortoBeach. There have been 5 murders, we suspect they are connected and it is your task to determine how they are connected and how the investigation is conducted. There are five deliverables that we expect from your group over the next 5 weeks: 1. Case studies and analysis from your local region (week one) 2. Statistical data and analysis (further information given in week 2) 3. Community links (further information given in week 3) 4. Press release (further information given in week 4) 5. Powerpoint (further information given in week 5) Who are the victims? You decide! Welcome Muster Reports Your task in week one is to get to know each other and for each member of the team to provide a short case study of a real murder case that has happened in your locality together with a short paragraph of analysis. You also have to decide what type of victims you are dealing with and if there are any shared personal profiles/muder weapons/locality. Tasks Finally in the first week, each group must assign one officer to take the role of facilitator to provide a regular weekly update of activities conducted by the group to the Police Chief. This officer might be designated as: Senior investigator or desk sergeant or civil adminstrator. This is for you all to decide but it is a very responsible role. I, the Police Chief, will provide regular muster reports on updates in PD central. You need to ensure that you report in to PD Central on a regular basis for updates and developments from me. You will receive regular muster reports from the chief of police in PD Central
