Methodology

Invitations to participate in the online surveys and in person interviews were sent to existing Studentawards members (approximately 500,000).
Survey 1: 1012 18 -24 year olds across Canada completed the close ended questions in an average of 15 minutes between November 1 and November 8th, 2010
Interviews: 28 GTA students completed the pre qualification survey between April 4th and April 6th and 23 student where confirmed for interviews April 10th, 2010
Survey 2: 1225 18 -24 year olds across Canada completed the close ended questions in an average of 10 minutes between April 29th - May 4th, 2011

Interviews were between 10 and 15 minutes and were conducted by Maura Hanley.
