7 questions that will be answered today Language Arts Psychoanalysis/ Theory of Multipe Intelligences What is Psychoanalysis? Psychoanalysis is a system of psychological theory and therapy that aims to treat mental disorders by investigating the interaction of concious and unconcious elements in the mind and bringing repressed fears and conflicts into the concious mind by techniques such as dream interpretation and free association. What is a Rarscach test & what's it used for? The Rorschach inkblot test is a type of projective psychological test created in 1921 by Hermann Rorschach. Used to analyze personality and emotional functioning, it is the second most commonly used forensic test after the MMPI. The Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) is, along w/ the Rorschach, among the most widely used, researched, and taught projective tests in existence. It consists of a seirous of pictures of relatively ambiguous scenes to which subjects are requested to make up stories or fantasies concerning what is, has, and is going to happen, along w/ a discription of th ethoughts & feelings of the various characters depicted. What is the International Society of the Rorschach and Projective Methods ? The Thematic Apperception Test is a projective personality test. Used to research certain topics in psychology, such as dreams and fantasies, mate selection, the factors that motivate people's choice of occupations, and similar subjects. What is a Thematic Apperception Test & describe. What is a Thematic Appreception Test? Describe. The Thematic Appreception Test, (TAT), is a projective measure intended to evaluate a person's patterns of thought, attitudes, observational capacity, and emotional responses to ambiguous test materials. The ambiguous materals consist of a set of cards that potray human figures in the varity of settings & situations. What are these tests? Describe. & who are they given to? Because schools mainly & only focus on their attention on linguistic and logical-mathematical inelligence. In this test they also focus on other ones such as Spatial Intelligence (picture smart), Bodily-Kinesthetic inelligence (body smart), Musical Intelligence (music smart), Interpersonal intelligence (people smart), Intrapersonal intelligence (self smart), & Naturalist interlligence(nature smart). These tests are given to everyone to see whom has special smarts. Identify the Theory of Multiple Intelligences. According to Gardner (1999a), intelligence is much more than IQ because a high IQ in the absence of productivity does not equate to interlligence. What are the 7 types of intelligences based on the theory?
