I Am Here

Here I Am
My Facebook friends are broken into fairly distinct groups
My geographical knowledge is most accurate in the Bozorth area of campus, as this . is where most of my undergrad courses took place
Most of my tweets take place in the afternoon/night when I am home working on projects and schoolwork. Often I am tweeting to classmates about these projects.

I initially only viewed Twitter as a tool, a device I needed to use in order to succeed in my classroom endeavors. My definition then evolved, and Twitter became a tool to stay in touch with classmates and give/ask for help involving our class assignments. Today, my definition has once again evolved and encompasses ideas and uses such as staying in touch with friends, disseminating and gathering information, and even asking advice or searching for answers to simple questions I may have throughout the day. It has become an important part of who I am.
The following Density Chart is a great example of what Edward Tufte calls “sparklines” in his book Beautiful Evidence. It is an integration of words and images, and tracks data over time (in this case, it averages my usage over a seven day span.) In fact, the look of the Density Chart is very similar to the sparklines shown on page 52 of Beautiful Evidence.
