be working toward a degree at one of the participating CUNY colleges
have addressed all remedial education needs prior to beginning fall 2014 classes
have earned at least 24 college credits by the end of summer 2014
have a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 2.5
be enrolled full-time (at least 12 credits) in the current semester and plan to enroll full-time in fall 2014 and spring 2015

Seven participating colleges are chosen
Nearly 2000 student applications are received
96 community partners selected
Offer extended to over 800 students
719 CUNY students complete pre-service training and are placed with 96 community partners in all five boroughs of New York City.
