A Few Survival Tips for Teachers
know where the closest faculty restrooms are
and how to use them in 30 seconds or less!
make friends with important people
the secretaries, the cafeteria ladies, the custodians, etc.
you know....the ones who REALLY run this place!
keep remote controls in an easy to find location
Otherwise you might find yourself using yardsticks to turn on your ceiling mounted projectors
don't be an an island
this job is too darn hard to try and do on your own
be flexible
otherwise, you will probably go insane
always have your sub plans ready
you never know when you might need a mental health day
*teachers seldom take off when they are actually sick
