written by Jenna Smith, Madison Horton, Landon Tedford, and Chaney Wagoner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Technology of the 70's and 80's welcome to 70's/80's CELL PHONES! Back in the 70's and 80's cell phone were rare to have and they were really really bulky. Radio Shack came out with a cell phone in the 70/80's. in 1974, Clive Sinclair invented the first ever electronic calculator. The people on that century had never seen anything like the calculator before, it was a technology breakthrough. Shakey the robot shakey the robot is one of the more interesting inventions that were introduced in the 70's and 80's. Shakey was completed in 1972. Shakey could move around and take video with his computer camera! Shakey was a nickname for a mobile rooting system. more technology The TV typewriter, designed by Don Lancaster, provided the first display of alphanumeric information on a ordinary television screen.It used $120 worth of electronics components, as outlined in the September 1973 issue of radio electronics. Technology was booming in the 70's and 80's. Espesailly in the area of arcade games. People played arcade games EVERYWHERE, in malls, ice rinks/ roller skating rinks. video recorder and laptop music has always been apart of history, but people have not always listening to it in the same way..... in the 70/80's people used huge video recorders to listening and jam out to music. They were kinda a burden though because you had to stop rewind and play it just took a lot of work.Also a big big invention that was introduced was the portible laptop. The laptop was a huge deal because now you didnt have to stay at home to get on your computer. They were at a skyhigh in the 70/80's !!! Everyone wanted a laptop! welcome to the 70's and 80's
