Disciplinary Appeals and Grievance Board
Appointed by the President at the start of each fiscal year.


Recommendation #3
We recommend that the employee must send the request within 30 10 working days after the effective date of the action to the Board.
The Board shall grant a hearing within 45 20 working days after receipt of such request.
Recommendation #4
The Board will issue recommendations to the PSU President.

Generally, the PSU President will follow the recommendations of the Board.

If the Grievance would get to Step 3 (Review by Director of HRS)...
HRS would send a copy of the Conflict Resolution form to the appropriate VP or Department Head.
Comprised of University Support Staff, Faculty, and Unclassified Administrative and Professional Staff.

The majority will be from University Support Staff.

Serve staggered two-year terms.

Must be in a benefits-eligible position with at least 2 years of service.


If a committee member feels that they are unable to be impartial and fair in a case, an alternate will be selected.
"Such personnel policies and procedures shall include a disciplinary and grievance process which provides for the right to appeal and due process procedures. Development of such plan shall be subject to input from affected classified employees.
Implementation of this section shall not cause a salary reduction or layoff of any classified employee
."
