By: Al Gore Political/Equity Our Geographical State Fossil Fuels: Economical Standpoint Concept Map Easily Understood Videos Government Roles:
The government believes that money for themselves, equals, and in some cases, weighs more than our planet earth. They tend to disregard global warming and not even acknowledge it. “What gets us into trouble is not what we don’t know, it's what we know for sure that just ain’t so“
- Mark Twain We know our world is falling apart, and we know what we can do to fix it, but in the end, we do nothing* about it. Kyoto Protocol:
A protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC or FCCC) that set binding obligations on the industrialized countries to reduce their emissions of greenhouse gases. The UNFCCC is an international environmental treaty with the goal of achieving the "stabilization of greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system." Rising Destruction of the Ocean: Polar ice caps are melting because of the rising temperature the Earth undergoes due to global warming. Rising ocean waters WILL flood the Earth. Warming of the Ocean: With less surface area and reflection the ice caps give for the suns rays, they directly hit the ocean, warming the water and also melting ice caps faster, making for deadlier storms. (Video) Air Polution Constant rising carbon dioxide emissions destroy our ozone layers and hinders Earth breathing cycle . Without our layers being able to regenerate fast enough compared to how much we emit, our Earth faces the suns stronger side. Agriculture: With rising temperatures, the sun's rays that normally just warm the land, end up drying it out. Less crops are being grown and our soil is beginning to crust more and more. Corporate Roles: Help Our Home! If its a short distance, why drive? If possible, invest! GO GREEN! Learn some tricks that can help you save and help conserve! There's always something
you can do! Corporates started off slow and disregarded the whole entire subject. As time goes on, its continually being embraced We The People In our everyday society, carbon dioxide is not only what we depend on for breathing, but what we depend on for transportation. Human Health Our whole well being is at risk everyday we go outside. The more we do nothing, the worse it gets for EVERYONE. -Federico Pistono
