work was a search, sometimes successful, sometimes not, 'for daily meaning as well as daily bread' Maybe my trusty bull's-eye lantern can shed some light... Fred Keller The world is an awful place. People in it know much and accomplish much, but spread suffering among each other and seem unable to avoid this. They even know something of this fact, but that seems not to be enough. We need the kind of knowledge that will actually change how people do things, so that the amount of suffering might diminish. I believe that a science of behavior can make a contribution to that end. Is a computer scientist's work life really just code, test, and debug? My Story:
