you can play with your friends
you have to complete each level to progress
you are motivated by challenge
you experience success
you are rewarded
you can choose to change level of challenge
you can get "cheats" How do you and the students know where they are? By the end of this session we will
definitely not have cracked personalisation
will have one way of assessing learning
will share some strategies So we and, more importantly, the kids need to know:
where we are
how we know we are there
where we should be heading
how to move on ...but can we use this language with the/all students? Practical strategies?
What can we do in order to make our lessons more like
those video games?
