COUNTABLES AND UNCONTABLES NOUMS Countables Nouns Substantivos que podem ser Countable e Uncountable
Countables nouns são fáceis de reconhecer. São coisas que podemos contar. Por exemplo:
* dog
* tables
* pen

Countables Nouns podem estar no singular ou no plural:

* My dog is playing.
* My dogs are hungry. Quando o countables nouns está no singular, devemos usar os artigos a/an/my/is ou are

* A dog is an animal.

Quando um countable nouns está no plural, podemos usá-lo sozinho:
* I like laranjas.

Podemos usar some e any com countables nouns:
* I have some dollars.
* Do you have a pen?

Podemos usar a litle e much com countables nouns:
* I have a litle bags.
* I dont have much pens. Uncountables nouns são substâncias, conceitos e etc que não se pode dividir-se em elementos separados. Nós não podemos "contar-los". Exemplo:

* Love, Money, Notice, Music.

Costumamos usar uncountables nouns no singular. Nós usamos um verbo no singular. Por exemplo:

* This is very important news.
* Your luggage looks heavy. Uncountables Nouns Não costuma usar o artigo indefinido a / an com uncountable nouns. Nós não podemos dizer " a information" ou "a music". Mas podemos dizer uma coisa de :

* a piece of news.
* a water bottle.
* a grain of rice.

Podemos usar any e some com uncountables nouns:
* Do you have some money?
* Do you have some rice?
Podemos usar a litle e much com uncountables nouns:
* I have a little money.
* I do not have much of rice. Às vezes, o mesmo substantivo pode ser countable e uncountable, muitas vezes com uma mudança de significado. Exemplo:
* hair
* noise
* paper
* time

Bebidas (coffee, water, orange juice) geralmente são uncountable. Mas, se estamos pensando em uma xícara ou um copo, podemos dizer (em um restaurante, por exemplo):

* two teas and a coffee, please.
