vocabulary words of unit 4 Constant = not changing or varying; uniform; regular; invariable.
Dissolve = to seem to disappear when mixed with a liquid. Electric energy = energy made available by the flow of electric charge through a conductor. Evaporation = the process that changes liquid water into water vapor. Freezing point = the temperature at the freezing point 0°C. Ingredient = something that enters as an element into a mixture. Insulator = a material that does not carry electrons. Iron = a ductile, malleable, silver-white metallic element, scarcely known in a pure condition, but much used in its crude or impure carbon-containing forms for making tools, implements, machinery Aluminum = metallic substance; light and weight.
Condensation = when cool temperature causes water vapor to form liquid droplets.
Boiling point = the temperature at which the vapor pressure of a liquid is 100°C. Conductor = a substance that allows heat, electricity, or sound to travel through.
