its a conversation
It is a critical conversation
If we think about the course of human events...
and we begin at the dawn of time...
when we learned to communicate,
we became capable of extraordinary things
we learned how to share a message
to tell stories and entertain
we wrote important things
and got faster with the process
some commnications trancend history
and some people were masters at
spreading messages & making connections
we got better a packaging the words of
our best story tellers
Marconi
we learned to transmit sound
and pictures that could reach large
audiences almost instantly
to share seminal events around the world
(and along the way, two guys thought it was
a pretty neat idea if everyone could have a
computer)
(
(
but we have reached the limits of one-way
mass media
So when we think about "mass media" as normal,
simply because we grew up with it...
isn't it more an anomaly? A blip on the radar?
in fact, when you think about it, isn't mass media about as far from our communial,
two-way nature as we can get?
so why are we concerned with this guy?
Isn't all of this...
a lot more like the all of this?
and not this
If that is the case...
a lot like a conversation at dinner?
With one exception... The entire world is invited to dinner
but we are here
to talk about healthcare
