De Contenido: permiten medir la calidad educativa que los estudiantes reciben en la sala de clases, además permite evaluar el sistema educativo en su totalidad utilizando los resultados de las evaluaciones para tomar decisiones que incidan y propicien el mejoramiento del proceso educativo. Estándares Expectativas Las expectativas de aprendizaje se refieren al nivel de rendimiento que se espera logre el estudiante, además definen la particularidad del estándar con destrezas y actitudes específicas y definen las competencias que el educando debe poseer como resultado del proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje.
