Mrs. Hamlett's Room Classroom 207 In Mrs. Hamlett's room we do weekly News-2-You. News-2-You is about news from around the world. News-2-You Knock Knock Joke Knock, Knock. Who's there? Fish. Fish who? Fish i had a pet! Next year we will wright to Tyler, Marcus, Zane, James, Ashley, Shara, and Jordan. We use this as a writing assignment. We mail the letters, so we have to know how to address envelopes and everything. We make lanyards and sell them. The students make them. We make lanyards to sell and use the money for the butterfly garden. We fill the water, juice, and pop machines. We check them everyday. We order the drinks each week. We fill the middle and high school machines. We buy flowers for the butterfly garden. Our last New-2-you was pet month. In Mrs. Hamlett's Class we started something called Tar Heel Reader. On Tar Heel Reader you you can make your own books. The Tar Heel Reader is free to use. Jon, Kaylie, Zane, Haley, and Josh have completed their Tar Heel Reader done. You can view their books at tarheelreader.org We our fishing our government class talking about the fifth amendment. We are talking about fair trials and punishment. Lately where In Mrs. Hamlet's government class we are studying the amendments. We are now in the Fifth chapter. We are finishing Mrs. Hamlett's science class with the atmosphere and its gases Wild Weird Weekly Fun Fact On average, a woman utters around 7,000 words a day while a man uses just over 2,000.
