What has changed in the new editor?

A quick walkthrough of the changes the new editor brings to the novice and seasoned Prezi authors. And while we are at it, there are some workflow tips on how to get the most out of the new features, to get you all up and running in no time.

| Save your prezi | Top Right menu > click on the autosave time (available in Edit mode) |
| Save your prezi and quit | Top Right menu > Exit (available in Edit mode) |
| Undo | Top Right menu > Undo (available in Edit mode) |
| Redo | Top Right menu > Redo (available after Undo in Edit mode) |
Text | |
| Write text | Write > double click anywhere and start typing |
| Edit text | double click on any text to edit it |
| Change text style | double click any text and use the Font Style buttons to switch between Title 1, Title 2 and Body text styles |
| Change text alignment | double click any text and use the Text Format buttons to align the whole textbox to the Left, Right or Center double click any multiline textbox and click in a line to change the alignment of that specific line with the Text Format buttons |
| Change the textbox's width | double click any text and drag the blue text width changer on the right edge of the textbox |
Navigate | |
| Zoom out | SPACEBAR no longer zooms out, use the Zoom Buttons (at the right edge of Prezi window), scroll mousewheel down/back, or hold down Z and move your mouse down you can also use the DOWN arrow in Show mode for smart zoom out |

| Next path step | TAB no longer advances to the next step, but you can use the RIGHT arrow on your keyboard |
| Previous path step | BACKSPACE no longer goes to the previous step, but you can use the LEFT arrow on your keyboard |
| The Bubble Menu, Arrows Menu and Zoom Buttons use autohide in Show mode, which means they will slide out of the screen to provide a cleaner view after a while. To make them come back, just move your mouse towards them. The Top Right menu is hidden in Show mode, return to Edit mode if you need it. | |
Transform | |
| Select an object for transformation | single click on the object in Edit mode (while the Bubble Menu is centered around Write, Insert or Colors & Fonts) |
| Duplicate the selected object(s) | press CTRL + D or select Duplicate from the Zebra Menu |
| Rearrange the selected object(s) to bring forward one step | select Bring Forward from the Zebra Menu |
| Rearrange the selected object(s) to push back one step | select Send Backward from the Zebra Menu |
| Delete the selected object(s) | hit DEL/BACKSPACE or select Delete from the Zebra Menu |
| Select more than one objects | SHIFT drag a selection rectangle around the objects to be selected, or hold down SHIFT while clicking on objects one by one you can also use the Zebra Menu: select the first object, click on Select More from the Zebra Menu, and click on objects one by one, click on OK to finish and confirm |
Draw | |
| Draw a freehand line, an arrow or with the marker | the Line menu is now in Insert > Shapes |
Path | |
| Add an object to the end of the path | select Path in the Bubble Menu, the Add object to path tool is automatically enabled. Click once on an object to add it at the end of the path |
| Add current view to the end of the path as a new step | Path > Capture View |
| Delete path | Path > Delete All |
Video | |
| Insert a YouTube video | copy the URL of the video and double click anywhere in Edit mode to make a new textbox, then paste the URL into it. The textbox will be replaced with a YouTube player |
