Presentation Path

by Adam Somlai-Fischer

When presenting on a stage, it helps to have a main narrative in your prezi. With the Path tool, you can present your prezi in the path you set just by clicking Next.

New path

Create a Path

  • Zoom out until you can see the objects you wish to show
  • Choose Path from the Bubble Menu
  • Click on your objects in the order you wish to present them
  • A thumbnail will be added at the bottom of your screen showing what you have just added
  • Press the "X" button on the thumbnails in order to remove a path point
  • Drag and drop your thumbnails to rearrange the order of your path
  • Drag the small midpoint between two already-inserted path points to insert a path point between them
  • Drag the large numbered circle onto other objects to change what the path point is linked to
  • Choose "Capture View" to capture your current view and add it to the end of your path

Click Show to view your path in Presentation mode.

The Delete All button deletes the whole Path, and all the path steps.

A good Path has overviews with Frames, details. You can depart any time, zoom out, respond to audience, and resume the Path by clicking next. You can use the left and right arrows, or the left and right keyboard keys to navigate in the Path. You can also use a remote presenter.

Hold down the 'next' button to choose automated timing. Hold down 'prev' button to jump to the start.
