Prezi Viewer iPad app

by Peter Halacsy

Read the FAQ for more information about the Prezi Viewer iPad App.

Known Issues/Limitations

  1. The app have only limited editing features.
  2. When you open a prezi for the first time on your iPad, it can take a while to load depending on the size of your prezi. Even big prezis load super quick for the second run.
  3. App sometimes unexpectedly quits/crashes especially when opening large prezis and if lot of applications are open.
  4. Links you have added to your Prezi on your computer will not work on your iPad in this version.
  5. .swf (flash) and PDF content created with Prezi Desktop and transfered directly to the iPad with iTunes won't be displayed. You need to open the prezi containing this type of content on prezi.com and open it with the Prezi app so it can be displayed.

We are working on these issues and will release update soon. Thank you for your patience!

How to be sure your prezi is iPad friendly

  1. Try to resize your images to smaller sizes if you don't zoom on it and if full resolution images aren't necessary in your prezi
  2. Avoid swf files. They consume a lot of memory.
  3. Prefer combining prezi shapes to create graphics rather than inserting images of graphics that would consume memory.
  4. If you have a very big presentation, with a lot of steps, it's maybe better to split it up in two different presentations, that you'd present sequentially.
