Building a teacher, peer-led professional development community How do you flip professional development so teachers are empowered to share, learn, create, and take on challenges? surfacing valued peer-knowledge so learning is peer-led "hacks" = short 3-5 min video on how you creatively solved a problem of practice that you think others might benefit from trying as well fellow teachers viewing a hack can add comments, recommend it, add it to their playlist, tweet it, etc... and if they see the teacher actually is close by, visit to learn more another bridge from virtual to physical community is attending Meetups, or as we call them, Blenders. what is the potential for badge earning challenges? how can we design them well to be meaningful? Micro-actions contribute to a profile and "Cred Quotient" as a Learner, Sharer, Influencer, and Collaborator how can we motivate individual and community growth?
