Born in 1445,
Botticelli was a famous artist of the renaissance period. He was Florentine and extremely successfull at the peak of his career with a highly individual and gracefull style founded on the rhythmic capabilities of outiline. La primavera,
his most famous painting,
painted in 1482 for the Medici family.

painted in 1481. He trained in Filippo Lippi whose style informs his earliest dated work like the Fortitude Panel in 1470
Sandro Botticelli lived his whole life in Florence, he died in 1510 at the age of 65. St Sebastian 1474. The calumny of Apelles
